I just built my first real SaaS. From zero to a live product. Alone. No team. No agency. No template. Around 6 months of nights and weekends - just an idea I couldn't let go of, and a lot of hard work figuring it out. Meet Metricon 👇 In Poland, almost everyone selling an apartment asks the same question: "What is it actually worth?" And almost everyone ends up with the same "valuation" online - a blind average of listing prices. The problem? Listings are asking prices. Not what someone actually paid. So I built something that fixes that. Metricon calculates a property's value from real transaction data - the prices people actually paid, taken from Poland's official government registry of notarial deeds - combined with central-bank housing data and location data from OpenStreetMap. In plain terms: not guesses from ads, but what buyers really paid. But here's the part I'm most proud of: Instead of one number "out of thin air," Metricon shows the correction behind every parameter 👇 🏠 base value 📊 market trends 🔧 technical condition 📍 location You see exactly where every złoty comes from. And it's not just a calculator. I ended up building a full toolkit: 🤖 AI that assesses an apartment's condition straight from photos ✏️ manual correction editing - the expert stays in control of the final price 📄 professional PDF reports (branded with the agent's name) 📥 leads - owners who get a valuation can contact the agent directly 📊 bulk valuation - upload a CSV and value hundreds of properties at once The result? A real valuation in 30 seconds. 6 months of work taught me more than any course ever could - data pipelines, valuation logic, AI, UX, deployment, all of it. I'm not going to pretend it was easy. But shipping something real, that people can actually use, hits different. Built solo with: Python + FastAPI, React + TypeScript, an XGBoost valuation model, Supabase, Stripe, and AI vision for the photo analysis. Deployed on Railway. And honestly?
