Can AI replace additive manufacturing expertise? In a recent conversation with Digital Engineering 24/7, our CTO Bart Van Der Schueren put it quite simply: “You need a user with domain knowledge to ask the right questions to get meaningful feedback.” According to him, the developments around natural language input are impressive. It can make complex processes more accessible and change how we interact with software. But it doesn’t replace expertise.
