Excited to welcome the SDC representatives! CH 💫 Representatives of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Mr. Jean-Christoph Favre and Ms. Arjeta Lleshi, together with Swisscontact and MSJ project representatives, visited three inspiring MSJ partners contributing to skills development, innovation, and sustainable employment opportunities in Kosovo. Our first stop was the Gračanica Innovation Centre (GIC), where founder Mr. Aleksandar Blagić and @SHEHU Academy representative Mr. Ylber Gjocaj welcomed the delegation during the completion ceremony of the CNC Operation and CNC Programming training supported through the MSJ project. A total of 28 participants received certificates after gaining new and upgraded skills for the wood processing industry, opening new opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship, and professional growth. 🛒 The delegation then visited the headquarters of Interex, where CEO Mr. Ardian Aliu highlighted the importance of continuous upskilling and investment in their workforce. As one of Kosovo’s leading retail companies employing more than #3,400 people, over #70% of whom are women, Interex shared its experience with the expert training for C-level management facilitated through the MSJ project and expressed interest in continued collaboration. 📏 📐 The day concluded at the newly opened offices and training center of @Adpt Academy, part of the #Maden Group, where founder Mr. Ideal Vejsa and Coordinator Ms. Vlera Haxhiavdyli presented their vision for developing a local hub for the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Through the support of the MSJ project, Adpt is strengthening industry-driven masterclasses, trainers’ capacities, and practical learning opportunities responding to growing market demand. One message remains: long-term partnerships and investment in people are essential for creating sustainable opportunities, strengthening industries, and building a more skilled workforce for the future.
