Today, Mastercard is proud to announce a five year, $5 million commitment to the American Red Cross.           This commitment builds on a longstanding relationship and a shared focus on supporting the full Red Cross mission, including helping families and communities prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters big and small. Together, we've seen the difference that preparedness, partnerships and service can make when support is needed most. As recent earthquakes in Venezuela and Japan have reminded us, disasters can affect communities anywhere and at any time. That's why continued investment in preparedness, response and recovery remains so important. We are honored to continue supporting the American Red Cross and the critical role it plays in providing help and hope when it’s needed most.
