At the Global Inclusive Growth Forum 2026, one message came through clearly: technology alone isn’t enough. Progress depends on trust, collaboration and systems that actually work for people and small businesses in their day-to-day realities. From helping small businesses prioritize stability over scale, to unlocking AI in ways that are practical and locally relevant, to building interoperable payment systems that connect across borders — the focus is shifting from possibility to implementation. Through the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, Mastercard is working with partners like CAF -banco de desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe- and the Caribbean to expand access to credit and strengthen resilience where it matters most.
