From wildfire devastation to long-term restoration: After the 2021 Lytton Creek fire in British Columbia, a new chapter is taking root. On Shackan Indian Band land, 400,000 seedlings are being carefully planted, protected and monitored — designed to survive in one of Canada’s most challenging landscapes.   This effort, led by Tree Canada in partnership with Cariboo Carbon Solutions and the Priceless Planet Coalition, goes beyond replanting.
