ArtInProgress | ARCOmadrid As part of our cultural project, this year we are once again participating in ARCOmadrid alongside AD magazine with LUMBRE, a proposal by Manuel Bouzas and the SalazarSequeroMedina studio, with outstanding careers and numerous international awards. The project also features the collaboration of artists Jacobo Castellano and Sandra Mar. Both our shop windows and our stand at ARCO are conceived as an immersive landscape constructed from wood recovered after the fires in the mountains of Laza (Ourense). The charred material is reinterpreted as a symbol of memory and regeneration. Architecture and art engage in a dialogue around the same idea: fire as a transformative force and design as an active and optimistic response to the climate emergency.
