I have employed a candidate with zero experience and no attitude. And I got 40k likes on my post 😎 But life is different, companies have policies and procedures, industries have competencies schemes. There are certain industries, because of their nature, having an internal training scheme. For example, you can become a cabin crew starting with no experience. You can become a soldier or a cop, if you pass an attitudinal test, the company will invest in your training. So yes, it is possible to employ someone with no experience but is not always possible. Some professions require university degrees and apprenticeships, Doctors, Lawyers, Pilots and so on. We have to be nice, but also to be realistic, not all jobs are for not experienced people, not all companies have programs to employ not experienced people, not all people want to work with not experienced people (go to the hospital sick and then let's talk again...). We need to respect older employees with many years of experience because we cannot let the message pass that we are prepared to value more the attitude than the experience, because when you buy a product, a car an house, food in the restaurant, or a dress, you value the experience of the maker and not the attitude (and I feel the need to make clarity on what attitude is to me). Professionalism is the solution to a two factors equation: Professionalism=Attitude+Knowledge where attitude is your mindset towards your job, your mental integrity, small to do with being a nice person, even if that is a good added value. Your accountant can be a very likeable person and yet steal money πŸ˜‰ no offence to the accountants. Do your research before applying for a job, not always is possible to employ based on one or the other factor, sometimes both are required. Use google, search for industry entry-level criteria, compare what you know whit what is required, adjust your target based on real possibilities, that is the fastest way to get a job. Your dream job must coincide with the concept of some else dream employee. Or start your own company 😎 It is good to dream, but learn to do it with two feet on the ground. #massimobrebbia #employmentopportunity
