Super happy to share this commentary article, written after the Music Ensemble multilab project. What I like most about this piece is that it does not force a single interpretation of the findings. Instead, it shows how the same data can generate different, thoughtful, and sometimes contrasting theoretical perspectives. The commentaries touch on musicians’ cognitive advantages, far transfer, causality, practical significance, and the broader value of multilab research. Some of these contributions contain real gems and deserve careful attention. Many thanks to all co-authors and contributors involved in this collective effort, including Rafael Román-Caballero, Deniz Başkent, Anne Caclin, Laura Ferreri, Anna Fiveash, Clément François, Eleanor E. Harding, César F. Lima, Katie Overy, Antoni Rodriguez-Fornells, M. Paula Roncaglia, E. Glenn Schellenberg, Bob Slevc, Barbara Tillmann, Laurel Trainor, Ana Zappa, and of course the mighty Francesca Talamini 🙌 🙌 🙌 https://lnkd.in/d6vnt2g2
