Progress in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) research continues. Mass General Brigham investigators are leading a new phase 3 clinical trial evaluating a potential therapy designed to slow disease development in people with early, rapidly advancing ALS. While results are still to come, this work represents an important step toward developing more effective treatment options for patients.
