Brig. General Charles Elwood Yeager passed away yesterday at the age of 97. Gen. Yeager was the first human on record of having broken the sound barrier in level flight. In his career he flew 201 types of aircraft and put in more than 14,000 flight hours. God speed General Yeager. #aviation #testpilot
