Innovation thrives when great ideas can move quickly from the lab into real‑world impact. That spirit was front and center at the Innovation Congress organized by the CDU/CSU-Bundestagsfraktion at the German Bundestag last week.   The discussions focused on a core question for Germany’s future: How do we create the conditions that allow research, technology and entrepreneurship to scale - and strengthen our technological sovereignty in an increasingly competitive world?   Fusion is emerging as a powerful innovation driver - opening the door to new industrial capabilities, advanced manufacturing and high‑skill jobs across Europe. As a future source of abundant, reliable and competitive clean energy, it can significantly boost Europe’s energy sovereignty and industrial resilience.   We were delighted to welcome Dorothee Bär and Jens Spahn at our booth to explore how Germany can position itself at the forefront of this emerging industry and ensure that scientific excellence translates into economic value and industrial leadership.
