Then and Now! A few photos going wayyyy back and a few more from this week. The more things change, the more they remain the same! #love Time, distance, life, and now covid means we don’t get to see the people we love as much as we’d like. Every year though, Michael, Danielle, Andrew (sometimes), and I get to spend a few days with my brother, his wife, and our nieces. This week was one of those weeks as we slowly expanded our bubble. We spent our days swimming, tubing, trampolining, eating, drinking, and laughing. While Michael and Trishia calmly enjoy a glass of red wine and some great conversation, Richard and I cannot stop giggling as we reminisce about all the summers we spent fishing at Batchewana Bay in Sault Ste. Marie with our father. The girls catch up, in or by the water, it is all about the water for them! Even though these visits are always too short and way too few and far between, everyone seems right at home. The girls, in fact, have taken to calling the bedroom with the twin beds their room – so cute! This year there is talk that they may come back in August – could we be so lucky?! If so, the BBQ will always be on with locally sourced steaks and chicken from McFadden’s and the ice cream from Minden will be chilling in the freezer. Nuestro casa es su casa!
