A few days ago, before the semi-final, I wrote about Spain’s incredible team spirit and what venture capital can learn from it. Today, with the final around the corner, these two flags are hanging side by side in my home. I was born in Argentina. Spain welcomed me years ago, and today I am proud to also be Spanish. My wife is Spanish, and so is my son. Argentina gave me my roots; Spain has given me a home, a family, and so many opportunities. People often ask where my loyalties lie. The truth is, I don’t have to choose. I feel incredibly fortunate to belong to both countries. Whatever happens in the final, I’m already a winner. Sport reminds us that identity isn’t always about choosing one side. Sometimes it’s about embracing everything that has shaped who you are.
