A chapter ends for me, but also in a way for ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE as well for which is was once known for - an independent listed media company in Germany This is undoubtedly the biggest change in the history of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, which has already undergone several major changes in recent decades. Following the successful takeover of the company by MFE MEDIAFOREUROPE last month and the replacement of two vacant seats within the supervisory board, MFE has now taken the next step: Marco Giordani, who has held the position of CFO at MFE for many years, is not only joining ProSiebenSat1 as its new CEO, but it has also been decided to replace the entire executive board. I wish Marco as the new CEO, the new executive board, and - of course above all - our top management and all employees of ProSiebenSat1 all the best and every success in leading this great company into the next phase of a closer and more integrated cooperation with MFE, but also in continuing its transformation journey from a linear broadcaster to a digital media company with strong TV channels and Joyn as an even stronger streaming platform. It only remains for me to express my gratitude in particular to our previous CEO, Bert Habets, for our trusting cooperation, but equally, of course, to my fellow board member Markus Breitenecker. The same thanks goes out to our supervisory board, led by our chairwoman Maria Kyriacou, for the intensive but always trusting cooperation. And last but not least, a huge “thank you” not only to each single person of my great direct teams, but also to each and every one of the wonderful employees who work at ProSiebenSat1. I wish all of you a great success as well as all the best! I will miss you 🚀🚀🚀
