MARTIN supplies combustion equipment to Brno, Czech Republic 🏭! On 12 December 2025 – shortly before the end of the year – MARTIN GmbH signed a contract for the construction of a new, ultramodern line in Brno (CZ). Having been awarded the contract by the end customer, SAKO Brno, the EPC contractor, Metrostav DIZ a.s., commissioned MARTIN to act as its exclusive subsupplier in this project for the combustion and combustion air systems, steam generator and SNCR technology. Our tried and trusted reverse-acting grate will be used, featuring 3 runs and a throughput capacity of approximately 400 tons per day. The gross heat release of the new line will be approximately 46 MW. The project is part of an EU-sponsored initiative for the modernisation of the existing waste-to-energy plant. The goal is to increase efficiency and sustainability through the construction of an additional line, scheduled to go online in 2028 and designed for an annual throughput rate of up to 160,000 tons. Together with our partner, EPC contractor Metrostav DIZ a.s., and LAB, responsible for the flue gas cleaning system, we look forward to successful implementation of this challenging project.
