directed by Niklas Kreikebaum produced by Jute Medien captured by Videology GmbH performance by Die Abbrunzati Boys edited and graded by us We are so proud to have been part of something that felt, genuinely, like more than just a show. La dolce vita, stadium-rock and loads of love and atmosphere. Roy Bianco & Die Abbrunzati Boys made history with this concert. WWK ARENA was used as a concert stage for the first time ever. That many people gathered in Augsburg for the first time ever and there's something about that particular mix of this venue, this crowd, that energy and the fireworks afterwards that resists the word "event." This was more like a shared, collective memory being made in real time. For our part at MGS Colors, this one hit different. There's something about the way this band celebrates Italian joie de vivre unapologetically, full-throated and completely committed that maps onto something personal. Which is maybe why the work mattered so much. The challenge, technically speaking, was real: a multi-camera production with all the aesthetic complexity of a mixed-angle concert film. Multiple cameras, multiple textures, multiple moods. The job of high end color grading is, ultimately, to make all of that read as one thing, one look, one world, one night. We think we got there.
