Early September is a great time to be exploring France, especially with 15 Porsches. During this Driving Tour we will be covering approx 750 miles, with none of them on motorways ! There’s no mountain passes or demanding roads on this tour, just great scenery and making new friends. Come along on your own, as a couple or just bring a friend to share some quality time with. Wedenesday 3rd September We all meet at Caffeine & Machine at 5pm to say hello & grab a coffee. We catch the overnight ferry to St Malo, France With Brittany Ferries. Thursday 4th September Arriving at 8.15am into St Malo, we start our adventure heading to Ile de Re for our first night, with a light lunch stop en route. Various stops along the way including our friends at AR Motorsport in La Rochelle 4.5 hours of driving and approx 225 miles Friday 5th September We will be heading to Limoges to our second hotel, but first we will explore La Rochelle before heading to La Tremblade for a Seafood Lunch. A magical spot and one of my favourite places to chill and enjoy Oysters. In the afternoon we will head to Limoges. 4.5 hours of driving and approx 170 miles Saturday 6th September Waking up in Limoges you have the early morning to explore before we set off to our third and final hotel stop situated close to Honfleur. A busy day of driving stopping en route in the back streets of Old Town Le Mans for Lunch. 5.5 hours of driving and approx 275 miles Sunday 7th September A morning to relax, heading over to the beautiful fishing village of Honfleur explore the galleries and enjoy some French cuisine and seafood before taking the 4.30pm Ferry from Caen to Portsmouth Arriving approximately 9.30pm. For some it may be more logistically sensible to take the Le Shuttle back home. 1 hour of driving and approx 50 miles - maybe we cheat and take the Autoroute for this one !
