As a Jersey guy whose freelance photography pursuits have put me in close proximity with Bruce Springsteen on a number of occasions (see below, a shot from The Upstage Jam during the Asbury Park Music & Film Festival in 2017), I have to recognize the Bard of The Garden State on his 72nd birthday today. He's not the greatest singer, he's not the greatest guitar player, but he IS one of our greatest storytellers. He crafts iconic characters in a few short lines, and he opens up your imagine to fill in their backstory. Aside from his Broadway show - in which he acknowledges that he's never worked a regular job in his life - his career been a blueprint for how to lead others while staying true to your course. Below, read an HBR article on Artful Leadership...and then maybe go spin Born To Run to celebrate The Boss. https://lnkd.in/gsjCcGqm
