“Your lead times are better than our local suppliers – but I can’t always justify the shipping cost.“ That was the sentence that stuck with me. A customer from the Netherlands. Smart engineering team. Clear communication. They’d used MakerVerse several times — and gave us a full, honest download. The quoting workflow? Really strong. Helped them move quickly through internal approvals. But then came the friction points: Part deliveries still come without material certificates. That causes delays. If our account manager is out, things slow down significantly. No follow-up. No momentum. AQ works very well for CNC — but doesn’t yet cover sheet metal and entire BOMs. None of this was angry. But it was honest. And valuable. Here’s what we’re already working on: 1/ Certificate tracking is being upgraded with better system linkage and smart alerts — so no delivery goes out incomplete. 2/ Fallback rules and structured handovers are being built into our operations to ensure continuity when people are out. 3/ We’re upgrading our logistics systems to reduce cost without compromising packaging or reliability. 4/ AQ now supports both CNC and sheet metal — so full BOMs can be quoted automatically.
