We just had our best quarter ever with record revenue shipped. And the biggest lever wasn’t sales. Month-end, quarter-end. All-time high revenue. Fully on forecast. Sales did their job. No question. We also grew new order intake. But those new orders? They’ll hit revenue later. What actually moved this quarter: How fast we convert existing orders into shipped revenue. For a long time, we treated everything the same. ODM orders. Project orders. Same setup. And it slowed us down. Because projects are different. More coordination. More dependencies. More chances to get stuck. So we changed two things: First: We created full transparency on how projects move into execution. Final specs aligned. Batches defined. Sample approvals clear. No more “half-ready” projects sitting in backlog. We built a clear funnel from order → execution-ready. And we track it every week. Project by project. Second: We gave full ownership to engineers for project execution. Not shared. Not fragmented. One person owns it end-to-end. Plus systems around it. Clear handovers. Structured execution. Less back-and-forth. That’s it. New orders are growing. Future quarters will benefit from that. But this quarter’s result? Came from executing what we already had - faster. Where does your backlog actually get stuck today? P.S. We built MakerVerse to provide a reliable, competitive and convenient access to all key manufacturing technologies.
