International News Media Association (INMA) had made me curious here. But in the case of the first study, “recent” actually means “experiment from 2018.” That is not “recent.” And after an initial read‑through, I have several other comments on the study published in early 2022. But what interests me far more is whether anyone here can share more up‑to‑date test results on the question of auto‑renewal (in German: “Negativoption”) versus auto‑cancellation (in German: “Positivoption”). My conviction — and also my practical experience, although it goes back quite a few years — is very clear: it is sensible and in the long run leads to more subscriptions and higher subscription revenue when you offer self‑renewing subscriptions.
