I am convinced - there will be no future without #digitalization. If we want to stay in business globally, Germany must invest now to ramp up its digitalization and use #COVID19 to catch up. Money and willingness to change are there #Konjunkturpaket - now it’s time to think big and use it wisely in a sustainable way. Some food for thought following last night's discussion with Dr. Holger Schmidt: 🚩#AI is the key technology of the next 20 years. We must cast aside reservations and leverage the potential. How? Start using AI sensibly in small steps! Telefónica Germany uses AI e.g. in Network, Customer Service and BI. 🚩#Startups are the innovative power. Our experience shows that the ‘green field’ approach is most likely to fail. My advice: understand business needs first then scout matching startups. We successfully run this approach with our innovation hub Wayra Germany. It's a win-win: we join forces to solve corporate issues and both get an opportunity to scale. 🚩#climateprotection & #sustainability should be on everyone’s agenda! It’s one of the big topics we urgently need to solve. Digitalization can be a driver to reduce Co2.
