To follow up on my New Year's post (Consumer Generative AI ≠ Enterprise AI) While user productivity is certainly aided by language interfaces (LLMs), business operations still run on tabular data and operational technology still leverages tabular data and pixels. That is why our Universal AI (not only LLMs) is so important to our customers/partners. I admit, mixed emotions as I enjoy doing data science:) But, a small transformer built for tabular data and getting excellent data science results with a single forward pass is attention worthy.
