Within our city Stad Mechelen there is room for innovation in democratic culture, broadening the democratic debate and emancipation of unheard voices. With the European Urban Initiative WATSUPS #MasterplanBinnendijle and Speak Up - Interreg North Sea Region project we went beyond 'ticking boxes' in participation and inclusive design.
