Our annual Melbourne Enterprise Review reports on the University of Melbourne's impact across research translation, commercialisation, entrepreneurship and industry partnerships. Our key ecosystem milestones in 2025 include: 🤝 3042 active research contracts (excluding competitive grants) with more than 1380 partner organisations 💰 $1.4 million awarded in Proof-of-Concept funding 💡 172 invention disclosures received ✨ 13 new UniMelb startups established 🏢 18 new companies added to the University and University-affiliated funds' venture portfolio 💵 Over $350 million raised by portfolio companies As the University’s innovation ecosystem continues to build momentum, the Melbourne Enterprise Review 2025 showcases the incredible positive impact our collective work is delivering for the benefit of communities, locally and globally.
