They only had three days. Three!! My mind is blown 🤯 What happens when you introduce a new material to curious creative minds and give them a challenge, guidance, tools and an almost impossible deadline? Have a look at the results created by the incredibly talented students of Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam, who were asked to design a flat-pack product, including packaging, for the New Store at het Nieuwe Instituut. The material was a given: one 400 × 400 × 12 mm sheet of SeaWood Materials. You can read more about the project, results and the students in this article: https://lnkd.in/eApUAgfs Thank you so much Bas Kortmann for coordinating this design sprint. Thank you Nadia Troeman and Klaas Kuitenbrouwer from the New Store / hNI for your regenerative initiatives and support in making this happen, and Niels Spaans for the beautiful photography. And of course, a big big thank you and so much admiration for the students. It is incredibly inspiring to see what you achieved with your talent, skills and drive in such a short time. You leave us a little speechless, but also a little louder: you materialised a vision of regeneration and what is already possible today. One of the many reasons we love working with education and forward organisations like het Nieuwe Instituut. P.S. Dr. ir.
