A FRESH START INTO 2026 WITH PURINA AUSTRALIA Four months ago, around 6AM I came off a plane in Sydney, right on my 45th birthday. Changing just two letters 😉 in our country of residence, (Austria->Australia) to manage the Purina PetCare business here. Many of us have been through life changing transitions together with their loved ones. Knowing, balancing and managing what and who comes first in these situations carries a very big responsibility. It requires enormous amounts of energy. I am grateful doing this with a company as great as Nestle. A heartfelt thank you for the amazing support. Keeping balance, focus, good spirits can still be an underestimated challenge. It's an amazing experience and a precious moment being at the helm of driving Purina Australia’s future. We are performing and transforming at pace with great team spirit, courage, expertise and hard work. Everyone is giving their best. I am so thankful for my great team, for great colleagues around me at Nestle Oceania and AOA and for the welcome by our partners and customers. Our recipe is to enjoy the high-energy momentum we’re building in our business while pushing us for even more external connection and competitiveness. Humble and decisive work is driving focus on our short-term priorities. With courage, curiosity and passion we are striving to improve our long-term strategic capabilities. It all starts with our individual leadership and the much bigger achievement of the team. It is a big learning journey. The colder the ocean the more you learn. Australia is a fascinating, highly developed and highly competitive market with great business partners. The PetCare category feels just as much or probably even more vibrant and changing as ever. Learning and finding a way to contribute taps into all senses and areas of expertise. And is impossible without the help around me.
