Hello #linkedin , En Paz Descanse Jor'Dynn Rose Duncan , Murdered December 2025. I adorned her with gold and the sun. She was removed from her mother's care when her Mother allegedly failed a drug test. Despite failing a drug test at this time there was no documented abuse when it came to the care of Jor'Dynn Duncan . "I might have been an addict but I was a damn good mother to my kids." - Portia Duncan (Jor'Dynns Duncan's Mother) Once removed from her mother's care Jor'Dynn started showing signs of abuse that the adults in her life claim they thought were "normal at the time." Jor'Dynn was left in the company of Kelly , her father's partner at the time. Her godmother talks about not being allowed to be alone with Jor'Dynn . Jor'Dynn even missed 40 days of school in a row. Yet her teachers all mandated reporters, never alerted CPS . There was video, photos and text messages documenting the abuse. After being tortured she died from an infection after suffering over 90 wounds some including stab wounds. Some wounds were older than others . Emily Kelly : was given guardianship of Jor'Dynn. Charged with second degree murder. Barbara Renner: (Emily Kelly's Mother) Charged with second degree Manslaughter. Elyssa Seymore : (Emily's Daughter) charged with unlawful imprisonment. Portia Duncan is suing the Long Island, New York, county and the school district. "The placement of Jor'Dynn Duncan with Emily Kelly was what led to her death," Derek Sells, an attorney representing Portia Duncan, said in a press conference. "The failure to properly screen that placement, the failure to properly supervise that placement, and the failure to report clear abuse in the form of neglect, not going to school, all led to this death.
