Ten years ago today, a journey began that changed my life 🚀✨. I started as a Research & Development Engineer for Cameo Lights 💡 and quickly grew into the area that’s truly my core strength. Back then, I was one of two Mechanical Engineers ⚙️ and initially worked at LD Systems together with Viktor Wiesner on accessories for our Stinger series — that’s where the very first EasyMount was created 🔩. I’ve been passionate about technology my whole life 🔧 — starting in my childhood bedroom, soldering fluorescent tubes from computer modding parts to a toggle switch and sticking them under my bed in a self-built wooden housing 🛠️🧰. It was the era of the first fast and the furious movie, when underglow lighting was all the rage 😉🚗💡. Later, I began repairing devices so they wouldn’t be thrown away ♻️. I quickly realized I was often the one in my friend group who planned, organized, and thought a few steps ahead 🗺️📐. I was ultimately able to bring all of this together — my mechanical engineering education 🎓⚙️, my hobby of making music 🎶, and an independent side business in event technology — and put it to good use at Adam Hall 🎤🏟️. As a result, I had the opportunity to set up a mechanical engineering team 👥 — the start of a wild journey with plenty of sweat and tears, during which I learned an incredible amount 💪📚. Our brands have evolved significantly through many great products, solutions, and innovations 💡📈 — including ideas that emerged in the minds of Kai Jentsch and myself 🤝. Over the years, our team expanded with amazing, committed colleagues, giving us the capacity to pick up the thread 🧵 and push it further 📈. For all of this, and for the trust, I am deeply grateful to my team, my colleagues, and the whole Adam Hall Group 🙏. Now, after almost eight years in leadership and ten years at Adam Hall, I’m standing at a milestone 📍 — excited to see what I’ll look back on in another ten years 🔭.
