Happy Birthday, Chesty! #OTD, we celebrate the 128th birthday of Lt. Gen Lewis B. “Chesty” Puller, the most decorated Marine in history and the only Marine to earn five Navy Crosses, the nation’s second-highest military honor. Chesty served 37 years in the Corps, leaving his mark on campaigns in China, Haiti, Nicaragua, World War II, and Korea. Chesty is remembered for his fearless leadership and relentless fighting spirit, as well as his unwavering dedication to his Marines. His legacy continues to inspire generations of Marines, and his name is synonymous with toughness, courage, and devotion to duty. “Old breed? New breed?
