Una de las conclusiones que nos llevamos de The Design Room es que la personalización ha dejado de ser un valor añadido para convertirse en una necesidad. Arquitectos e interioristas trabajan cada vez más en proyectos que buscan diferenciarse, reflejar una identidad propia y responder a estilos de vida muy concretos. En ese contexto, la capacidad de adaptar materiales, acabados, dimensiones o incluso desarrollar piezas específicas adquiere un valor cada vez mayor. Pero también percibimos algo igualmente relevante: el creciente interés por las piezas con carácter real. Objetos capaces de aportar personalidad al espacio, de generar una atmósfera propia y de convertirse en parte esencial de la narrativa del proyecto. En Mariner creemos que esa singularidad nace de la combinación entre diseño, personalización y oficio. But there was another equally important insight: the growing appreciation for pieces with genuine character.
