Uveitic Macular Edema (UME) patients have been facing an impossible choice for decades:  - Repeated local steroid injections (and the risk of glaucoma/cataracts). - Systemic immunomodulatory therapies (and the burden of systemic toxicity). Data suggests that there is a better way: targeting the key inflammatory driver interleukin-6 (IL-6) at the site of action. The result? Meaningful vision improvements, sustained retinal fluid resolution, and a safety profile that changes the game for patients who have limited therapeutic options. When deep understanding of disease biology meets precision medicine, breakthroughs happen. 👁️✨ Special thanks to Sascha Fauser for his unwavering support and to our fantastic colleagues and collaborators Meike Pauly-Evers Laura Steeples David Silverman Zeinab Barekati Dr Rachael Harlow Niamh Gould Eric Suhler Phoebe Lin Sumit S.
