A highlight of this year was my visit to the European Central Bank (ECB) as a recipient of the ECB Scholarship for Women. It was an incredible opportunity, especially meeting ECB President Christine Lagarde. Her leadership and advocacy for women’s empowerment have long been an inspiration to me, and her words during our meeting were truly motivating. She has been a key influence in shaping my passion for pursuing a career in Economics. I also had the privilege of engaging with Frank Elderson, Patrick Montagner, and Gabriel Glöckler, whose insights into their areas of expertise were invaluable. Equally rewarding was the opportunity to meet my fellow scholarship recipients, a remarkable group of young women who are set to make significant contributions to their respective fields. My sincere thanks to the scholarship team at the ECB for making this visit an unforgettable and inspiring experience. Copyright: ECB
