Back in May, Marina Bay Sands curated a bespoke private experience for selected clients – an exploration of the Scottish Highlands centred on the artistry, provenance and enduring legacy of exceptional whisky. Guests were invited on an exclusive, behind-the-scenes journey into the heritage and craftsmanship behind Marina Bay Sands’ Single Malt Whisky – an extraordinary private collection held for over 33 years. Set amidst sweeping aerial views of Scotland’s breathtaking landscapes, the experience offered guests a glimpse into the processes, people and places behind one of the world’s most revered single malts. Led by on-site whisky specialists, the programme provided an immersive view of the whisky-making journey — from barley selection and fermentation to distillation and cask stewardship. Guests gained deeper insight into how sherry-seasoned oak casks from Spain impart colour, aroma and depth to the whisky, and how time, climate and expert cask selection come together to create balance, complexity and consistency in flavour. At Coleburn Distillery, guests toured the traditional dunnage warehouse where Marina Bay Sands’ own single malt Scotch whisky is stored, offering a rare view into the whisky journey from cask to bottle. The journey culminated in a private tasting of Marina Bay Sands’ rare whisky expression, matured in seasoned sherry oak. Under expert guidance, guests engaged in a sensory appreciation of the whisky, discovering its layered profile, and how decades of patience and craftsmanship are captured in each dram. The whisky trip represents a cornerstone of Marina Bay Sands’ long-term vision to elevate whisky as a pillar of storytelling and client engagement. By investing in rare collections and strengthening collaborations with esteemed heritage whisky houses, Marina Bay Sands continues to redefine luxury engagement, creating deeper connections and inspiring appreciation for craftsmanship. #MarinaBaySands #MICEMBS
