How alert are you while navigating? Test it at Maritime Industry. Starting today, we’re there with our newly developed mobile simulator: the MMTOS. With it, we demonstrate that high-quality simulator studies are not only possible at our Seven Oceans Simulation Center in Wageningen, but at any location. We’re not just showcasing the technology — we’re also conducting live research. In this study, we examine how much time is needed to build sufficient situational awareness. This is essential for making the right decisions in time, for example to prevent a collision or to keep a vessel safely under control when a remote connection unexpectedly fails. That’s why we invite skippers and maritime professionals to take part in this simulator study. ⏱️ Participation takes approximately 15 minutes: • ±10 minutes of navigating on the simulator • ±5 minutes answering research questions All research data will be processed completely anonymously. 📍 Visit stand B08 at the entrance and sign up to participate.
