Can we all agree to stop celebrating badge scans for a minute? 😅 I get irrationally excited by event reports. Not because I enjoy spreadsheets… But because they reveal something fascinating… What organisations choose to measure tells you exactly what they value. Too often, event reports become a scrapbook of activity. ✔️ Footfall ✔️ Badge scans ✔️ Social impressions Interesting? OFCOURSE!! Enough to convince a CFO or procurement team to sign off next year’s budget? Probably not… The conversation changes when we stop asking: “What happened at the event?” …and start asking: 👉 What changed because of the event? Did we open doors? Did we accelerate opportunities? Did we strengthen relationships? Did we shift perception? Did we create commercial momentum? That’s where the magic lives!! The best event reports don’t simply look backwards. They build the business case for what’s next.
