Antarctica belongs to no single nation, which means its protection depends entirely on countries fulfilling their commitments. ❄️ Meet Daniela Portella Sampaio, this month’s featured Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Fellow, who explored how governments can translate international commitments into concrete actions to protect one of the planet’s most unique and fragile environments.    Through the POLARPOL project, she examined Antarctic programmes across Europe, identifying factors that help governments implement environmental agreements such as dedicated funding, administrative autonomy, and previous experience.    Beyond her research, she’s passionate about making international negotiations and environmental decision-making more accessible to wider audiences. As a member of the MCAA, she encourages current and former MSCA fellows to participate in the Association’s initiatives and activities to enhance their knowledge, expand their networks, and build future collaborations. 🔗 Find out more: https://lnkd.in/efSHas8D  #MSCA #FellowoftheMonth
