Looking back at the MCAA Annual Conference 2026 ✨ On 22–25 April, researchers, policymakers, and innovators gathered at the Université libre de Bruxelles in Brussels and online to explore research careers beyond borders and celebrate 30 years of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).   Our global community is a living embodiment of research excellence thriving on mobility, diversity, and openness. It was a pleasure to see it come together once again at our annual flagship event, carrying this philosophy forward. Here’s an overview of our flagship event in numbers: 👥 500+ attendees onsite and online from around the world 📍 Six satellite events  💡 Two plenary and 20 parallel sessions on topics related to research, innovation, and academic life 🗨️ 150+ speakers and moderators … and countless groundbreaking ideas and inspiring encounters! Thank you to the MCAA Board, Secretariat, Chapters and Working Groups, sponsors, local hosts, and volunteers for making this event possible, as well as to all session organisers, speakers, moderators, and participants for contributing to its success! A special thank you to the European Commission for the continued support.  Let’s continue to nurture the ideas sparked, the connections made, and the energy shared long after the event!
