Sharing knowledge and sparking inspiration ✨ A big thank you to Christina Ea Maria Aros for inviting me to speak to your class at the local university, UCL, today! The topic was recruitment, and I had the chance to share how we approach it at Umbraco 🦄 From creating a great candidate experience to ensuring our process reflects our core values – friendly, respect, honest, and people-first 💙 When done right, recruitment becomes more than a process – it helps us attract and hire the right people who truly thrive in our culture. And I must say, with all the fantastic colleagues I have, I think we’re doing pretty well! 🙌 Always a pleasure to meet and engage with curious students – especially when they ask thoughtful questions and challenge the status quo 👩‍💻 My final tip to them: 👉 Be friendly, honest, and transparent throughout the entire process. That’s how you attract – and keep – the right people!
