No one sees the 200 slides that became 20. No one sees the documents covered in comments, the debates over a single word, or the hours spent trying to answer questions no one had asked before. They only see a 20-minute presentation. A few weeks ago, together with Marta Cifuentes Gómez , Tianzheng Xia and Sergio Navas Yuste, PhD, MBA , I - defended our Master’s thesis as part of the Bilingual Senior MBA in Pharma & Biotech. The program challenged us to think beyond disciplines and work in a truly international environment. Interestingly, it wasn’t just about a potential therapeutic innovation for multiple myeloma. It was about something far more complex: proving that a great innovation must not only be scientifically robust, but also strategically viable, ethically responsible, and capable of communicating value in an environment where every word matters. Developing this business case required us to connect science, strategy, market access, and business decision-making. Because in healthcare, the best answers are rarely the simplest ones. That is not something you learn by memorizing frameworks. You learn it by challenging ideas, defending your perspective, changing your mind, and realizing that the best solution often emerges only after letting go of your first one. Thank you, Marta Cifuentes Gómez , Tianzheng Xia and Sergio Navas Yuste, PhD, MBA for proving that the strongest teams are not the ones that always agree, but the ones that turn different perspectives into better decisions. In the end, a Master’s thesis is not just another academic project. It’s proof that you no longer think the way you did when you started. And perhaps that’s the most valuable outcome any MBA can offer. #MBA #Pharma #Biotech #Healthcare #Strategy #Leadership #Teamwork #LifelongLearning #PharmaMarketing #LifeSciences #BrandStrategy #MarketAccess #CommercialExcellence #HealthcareInnovation #PatientCentricity
