When Dr Brandon Carp Carp asked me to run the Australian Clinical Entrepreneur Program in 2025, I had no idea what I was in for. The highlights?  🙏Working with incredibly driven clinicians, the ultimate type-A personalities.  🙏Navigating constant time constraints for everyone that force to ruthlessly prioritise the fundamentals, i.e. stakeholder mapping and market validation.  🙏Introducing yet another cohort to the life-changing experience of Mont Blanc from Good Measure (still hoping for that commission offer 😁).  🙏Dr Alwin Tan 's never-ending supply of incredible stories. 🙏The absolute joy and fun of working with my new favorite person - Matt Hallam 🙏And the sheer intensity of clinical innovation where cohort members join calls in full scrubs before jumping off to deliver a baby (looking at you, James and Neville). I work across different parts of the startup ecosystem and see successful cases in various markets regularly. Healthcare is confidently one of the fastest-changing environments out there. Two years ago, AI scribes were brand new and no one had real experience with them. This year? Nearly everyone has tried them, formed opinions, and learned through trial and error.  Running an accelerator in this space means rebuilding your content EVERY SINGLE YEAR. In the space where fax referrals and AI scribes exist side by side, innovating is incredibly challenging but deeply rewarding. Finishing the year on a high note, knowing these founders will make impact across public, private, tertiary, and rural healthcare systems.
