๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ง'๐ฌ ๐จ๐๐๐ข๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ง๐ - This is us doing at the retreat what we do daily at HEC Lausanne: Save the world ... or at least the day... or at least some issues! The outdoor escape game at the Lac de Joux allowed us to solve ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก enigmas for once! Besides the fun part, we also discussed future projects of HEC Lausanne: optimizing the almost completed Bachelor reform (because nothing is ever perfect and we try to always adapt to feedback and collected data), streamlining and making internal processes more efficient (this sounds boring but is key for collaborator and Dean's office member's satisfaction), boosting research because being strong in research differentiates us from other business schools (and we are proud of this), pushing the school further and making it known to the outside world (preparing for accreditations will help us to become an even better school). And do all of this (and more), and do it right, and do it in a constellation of looming budget cuts - but - with the best team ever: Valรฉrie Chavez as Vice-Dean Research and Doctoral school, Christian Zehnder as Vice-Dean Faculty Recruitment and Promotion Academic HR, Jeffrey Petty as Vice-Dean Impact and continuing education, Olivier Gallay as Vice-Dean Bachelors and Masters Programs and Student Affairs, and most importantly, our four executive directors: Marie-Elisabeth DELILLE for internal affairs, Dr Stรฉphane Guรฉrard for student affairs, Carolyn Magnani for impact, outreach, research and quality, Madeleine Linard for student mobility and internationalization. We are ready for the summer and for the next academic year! Thank you team!
