LinkedIn needs a ‘Business Owner’ version of #OpenToWork. The green banner is great for job seekers, but it doesn't fit the self-employed. We aren't looking for a boss (I’m certainly not 🤣) we're managing a pipeline. I'd rather signal ‘Capacity’ or ‘Availability’ than ‘Looking for a job.’-mainly as that’s not what I’m looking for 🤣 It’s a small change in language, but it changes the dynamic from candidate to consultant which changes who’s looking. If I’m looking for clients who’s courses need developing the ‘open to work’ banner isn’t going to attract them! LinkedIn please hear our plea! 🙏 Freelancers and consultants etc : Which banner would you actually use? 1. Open for Contract 2. New Client Availability 3. Open for projects 4. Freelance ready 5. Other (comment) #SmallBusinessOwner #Freelancer #Projects
