⭐️ NABA at Deloitte⭐️ Had an incredible time at the NABA event inside Deloitte! 🎉 It was inspiring to see my professor, James B. Johnson called, “The Godfather” and to watch him receive the recognition he truly deserves. I was shocked to find out that, my accounting Professor mentored Reese Blair, Deloitte’s partner. I was like Wow 😳 Watching Reese’s Blair, the partner whose story blew me away, give my professor his flowers was such a powerful and beautiful moment. Reese’s, coming from the Bahamas and sharing how he initially thought Deloitte made a mistake in hiring him, yet he seized that opportunity, was truly inspiring. His wisdom, humor, and character left a lasting impression. I also had the pleasure of meeting the vibrant Alyssa Cherkin, such a positive energy and beautiful soul. I Loved her whole energy. Plus, catching up with some talented new Deloitte hires from Drexel and LaSalle, whose stories and insights about their journey were so motivating. Plus great feedback and tips. And it was fantastic to reconnect and network, seeing friends like Angie Orozco who goes to Temple, thriving made the experience even more special.
