Scientific Officer at European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)
A few weeks ago I concluded a wonderful three-month experience as a guest scientist at AGES – the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety – in the beautiful city of Vienna. During this time, I had the pleasure of working with Steinwider Johann and his fantastic team in the Risk Assessment Department on a project of common interest, while promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange between AGES and EFSA. I also had the opportunity to interact with food safety experts from AGES and other public institutions, sharing perspectives on chemical risk assessment and learning about their approaches and practices. I am now back at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and look forward to sharing this enriching experience with my colleagues. A heartfelt thank you to my AGES colleagues for making me feel part of their team from the very first moment. Thank you for the excellent collaboration, the stimulating exchanges, and the many memorable moments I take with me from this experience Steinwider Johann, Kristina Marchart, Melanie Kuffner, Lena Brunner, Tamara Coja, Katharina Vejdovszky, Ulrike Mayerhofer, Sonia Galazka, Elke Rauscher-Gabernig, Veronika Karnel, Walter Stepanek, Daniela Hofstaedter, Sonja Mika, Lukas Meusburger and Magdalena Wagner If you happen to visit Parma, please let me know — I would be very happy to see you again!
