đď¸ To Those with Power, Platforms, and PurposeâHow do you Stay Silent? đWhy isnât this on the 8 oâclock news in the Netherlands? đWhy does my country continue tradingâyes, even in weaponsâwhile war crimes go unsanctioned? đWhy do European leaders, like @kajakallas, yesterday still say they ´see no solution´, no collective action, while genocide unfolds before our eyes? Why? đ đ đ And then I ask myself: đHow can they pray on Sunday morning, eat their croissants, take their children out into the fresh air from their sunlit homes with Wi-Fi-controlled washing machines? đHow do they sleep at night? đHow do they look in the mirror on Monday morning? How? đ¤ đ đď¸ These arenât rhetorical questions. Theyâre a call to conscience. To journalists: your silence shapes public perception. To policymakers: your inaction costs lives. To activists: your voice is needed more than ever. Many thanks! đIâm posting this because silence is complicity. Because I still believe in humanity, even when it feels like itâs slipping away. đ˘ We must speak. We must act. We must demand accountability. Thank you to everyone reading this. If you're a policymaker, journalist, or activistâthis is not just a post. It's an invitation. đ Policymakers: What mechanisms are in place to hold perpetrators accountable? Whatâs stopping us from using them? đ Journalists: What stories are being buried, and why? Who decides what makes the headlines? đ Activists: How can we unite across borders to amplify the voices of those silenced? đ˘I welcome your thoughts, your expertise, your courage. Letâs not just scroll past injustice. Letâs confront itâtogether. đ˘If you know organizations or individuals who should see this, please tag them. If you have resources, share them. If you feel somethingâsay something. Many thanks to #HazemHelmeAbuAnza. Heartfelt thanks to all who refuse to stay silent, who keep going, who continue to reportâsometimes at the risk of their own lives. Remember: There´s Always Hope! đš đ TAGS: @AmnestyInternational @HumanRightsWatch @AlJazeeraEnglish @ICJ @UNHumanRights @BuildPalestine @MedicalAidForPalestinians @ReportersWithoutBorders @EuropeanParliament @TheIntercept @DemocracyNow @CAIRNational @PremierSchoof @DeRodeLijn #HumanRights #JusticeForPalestine #EndTheSilence #MediaResponsibility #PoliticalAccountability #LinkedInActivism #SpeakTruth #WakeUpEurope #NoMoreExcuses #Solidarity #PalestineGenocide #ActNow #JournalismMatters #PolicyWithPrinciples #Accountability #MediaEthics #PolicyChange #ActivismWorks #LinkedInDialogue #JusticeForPalestine #GlobalSolidarity #RubenBrekelmans #DilanYesilgoz #CarolinevanderPlas #VVD #BBB #DickSchoof #Nieuwsuur #NOS #PubliekeOmroep #ChrisStoffer #SGP #MirjamBikker #ChristenUnie #HenriBontenbal #CDA #KatiPiri #DENK #StephanVanBaarle #EstherOuwehand #MichielServaes #PartijVoorDeDieren #ja21 #GeertWilders #OxfamNovib #BenjaminNetanyahu #warcrimes #genocide
