As October begins, I’m excited to announce that two major changes in my life are approaching. First, I’m more than happy to share that I’ve joined the BayFiD – Bayerns Frauen in Digitalberufen network alongside 49 other women aspiring to shape the digital future. Two weeks ago, I had the chance to meet everyone in Nürnberg and went home feeling incredibly inspired by everyone‘s insights and personal stories! At the same time, I recently decided to continue my studies at Universität Ulm, starting my Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy in the coming weeks. Everyone who knows me understands how much this decision means to me and the amount of thought that went into it. I’m excited to dive deeper into learning how to help people achieve a better outlook on life and mental health. Hopefully, I‘ll be able to combine this knowledge with my technical skills and shape the future of healthcare in any way, shape, or form. I’d like to wrap this up by thanking everyone I’ve met so far at BayFiD (especially for the inspiring talks from Ronja Wagner, Svenja Lassen and Dr. Caroline Mükusch, as well as everyone I talked to personally), and Linda Miller, Zhe Zeng, and everyone else at the Department of Human Factors at Ulm University, who have shown me that combining psychology and technology is not only possible but also really exciting!
