🚀 Factory Acceptance Test (F.A.T) Visit – Main Switchboard 🚀 On 27/10/2025, I had the opportunity to represent the Project Management Consultant (PMC) team and act as Client Representative during the Factory Acceptance Test (F.A.T) of the Main Switchboard at Tenaga Powertech, Selangor. The visit involved comprehensive visual inspections to ensure that the switchboard meets all design specifications and quality standards. We also conducted critical functional tests, including pressure tests on the switchboard, checking insulation integrity, verifying connections, and ensuring proper operation of protection devices. This F.A.T visit is a crucial step in quality assurance before the switchboard is dispatched to site, ensuring safe and reliable operation once installed. It was a productive session collaborating with the manufacturer’s technical team and aligning on testing protocols and compliance requirements.
