International Seafarers'​ Welfare & Assistance Network (ISWAN), the global seafarers' welfare charity, takes around 450 new contacts every month on its 24/7 multilingual helpline. Financial anxiety is one of the most common worries seafarers raise. Whether that's sending money to loved ones back home, or making a budget last while at sea.
